1.1.3. Mathew Perumal
Third Generation. He lived near Noorupara Puthenparampil, and the
family was called Vadakkepurathu. His only son is Perumal Mathen.
1.1.3.1 Perumal Mathen
He lived in Vadakkepurathu and had a son and a daughter. Son, Elias
Mathen and daughter Mariamma.
Mariamma is married to Thalavady, Amprayil Varkey Varghese. They
have five children, one son and four daughters. A V Varghese (Kunjucherukkan),
Pennamma, Kunjamma, Aleyamma and Sosamma. Pennamma is married to Chathenkary Malisseril Chacko. Kunjamma is married to Amichakary, Vengal Iype. Aliyamma is married to Chenankary Kollamparampil Chandy Kunju. Sosamma is married to Karakkal, Kuzhuvelipuram Sankaramangalath Udumbattu Baby. A V Varghese (Kunjucherukkan) married Mariamma, daughter of Mathew, Thachileth, Kuriyannor. They have six children, George
Varghese (Kunju), Mathew Varghese (Thampi), Abraham Varghese (Babu),
Kuruvilla Varghese (Raju), Mary and Lissy.
1.1.3.1.1 Elias Mathen.
He lived in Vadakkepurathu and married Sosamma, daughter of Kochu
Varkey, Kandathil, Thalavady. They have two sons and four daughters. The elder son is Elias Mathew (Kunjappi) and the younger is Elias Varkey (Kochukutty). The eldest daughter Annamma is married to Vengal Iype, Amichakary. Second daughter Mariamma is married to Thondukandathil Kurian, Melpadam. Third daughter, Aleyamma is married to Asariyath Naduvilath Abraham, Nellickal, Koipuram and the fourth daughter Sosamma is married to Thomas Parekadavil, Eraviperoor.
1.1.3.1.1.1 Elias Mathew / Kunjappi (1905-1988)
He is the elder son of Elias Mathen and married Kunjamma, the eldest
daughter of Pullypada Karukayil Abraham and Aleyamma from Veeyapuram. After his schooling, he was engaged in agriculture. They have seven sons and three daughters, Kunjukunju, Kunjunjamma, Leelamma, Babukunju, Rajukunju, Kunjumol, Kunju, Thomaskutty, Prasad and Prakash.
1.1.3.1.1.1.1 V M Elias. (Kunjoonju): The eldest son of Kunjappi and Kunjamma. After his higher education, he worked in North India, then with Grassim Industries Mavoor, Calicut. He is married to Ammukutty (Mariamma), daughter of Rev. P E Thomas, Padavupurakkal Vallayzhathu. Thalavady. They have two children, Nisha, and Shaju. Nisha is married to Thomas George, son of George Thomas, Pallickal.
1.1.3.1.1.1.1.1 Shaju married Sanu, the daughter of Cholakath Varghese
C Varghese, Cholakathu, Thalavady. They have two children Elvis
(1.1.3.1.1.1.1.1.1) and Eleena.
Susannamma (Kunjujamma): She is married to Mathew Chacko Malayil, Kollakadvu and they have three children, Usha, Asha and Binesh.
Aleyamma (Leelamma): She is married to Rev. Chandy Jose son of P C Joseph, Plantharayil Kodukulanji. They have three children Lisa, Leena,and Liju.
1.1.3.1.1.1.2 Abraham Mathew (Babu Kunju): After higher education, he worked in a Petroleum based Industry in Bombay for a long time. He is married to Mahi, the daughter of Mathew George Thalachira Poyyanil, Kumplampoika. They have two sons Diju and Joju.
Diju 1.1.3.1.1.1.2.1 married Lijin, daughter of Abraham Mathew,
Chiramukhathu, Koorthamala Kumbanadu. They have two children. Acsah and Sonu (1.1.3.1.1.1.2.1.1).
Joju 1.1.3.1.1.1.2.2 married Kavitha, daughter of George Cherian, Kuttikal
Peedikayil, Venmony. They have a daughter named Joanna.
1.1.3.1.1.1.3 Varghese Mathew (Raju Kunju): After his higher education, he worked in Kerala and abroad for long and is currently settled in Tiruvalla. He married Elsie, daughter of N I Thomas, Naduvelil, Chellakadu
Ranny. They have three daughters, Jucie, Saiju and Susanna. Jucie is married to Aby, son of M C Thomas, Ezhikathu Oozathil, Puthencavu. Saiju is married to Mathew, Nallayathu Veetil, Kuttapuzha. Susanna is married to Rev. Justin K Mathew, son of Joseph Mathew, Chirapurath, Pandanad. Annamma (Kunjumol): She is married to Monachan, son of Eapen Joshua, Pallipedikeyil, Kozencherry and has two children Rajesh and Jessil.
1.1.3.1.1.1.4 V M Mathew (Kunju): After his higher education, he worked in LIC of India. He married Prabha, daughter of K P Vareed Master,
Kakkaseri, Calicut and they have one son, Anoop.
Dr. Anoop (1.1.3.1.1.1.4.1) is practising in UK now. He married Neena, daughter of George Mathew Kizakkekkara, Tiruvalla and has two children.
1.1.3.1.1.1.5 Thomas Mathew (Thomaskutty): After his education,
he has his own finance business in Alleppey. and works as the manager. He married Sunu, daughter of Joy, Pathil, Kainakary and has two children Teenu and Tijo (1.1.3.1.1.1.5.1)
1.1.3.1.1.1.6 Prasad Mathew (Prasad): He is a law graduate and is
practicing in Kerala High Court. He married Subha, daughter of P K Thomas, and they have two children, Sanju (1.1.3.1.1.1.6.1) and Smitha.
1.1.3.1.1.1.7 Joseph Mathew (Prakash): He married Omana, daughter of T A Jacob, Thomas Villa, Punaloor and have two children, Nikhil (1.1.3.1.1.1.7.1) and Neethu.
1.1.3.1.1.2. Vadakkepurathu Elias Varkey (Kochukutty) (1908-1985):
He is the younger son of Elias Mathen. He started his career as a dentist and thereafter shifted to agriculture. He married Mariamma, daughter of M K Koshy, Moolamannil, Karakal. She had her early education in Nicholson School
Tiruvalla. They have five children , two sons and three daughters, Baby,
Mathukutty, Ammukutty, Gracey and Kunju (Rev. George Koshy.)
Baby is married to Prof. M I Thomas, the eldest son of Thomas Ittycheria.
They have two sons Suresh and Satheesh. Suresh married, Sheeba, daughter of the late K K Joseph and Mary. Satheesh married Sheela, daughter of the late C C Mathai and Aliyamma, Sankaramangalath Chettukandathil, Ayoor.
1.1.3.1.1.2.1 George Mathew (Mathukutty): After his college
education, he worked in Calico Mills Bombay, and in Synthetics & Chemicals Ltd, Bareilly (UP) for long and now lives in Thriuvanthapuram. He married Molly, the eldest daughter of Dr. P G Thomas, retired civil surgeon, Puthenveetil, Kanjirappallil, Thalavady. They have three children, sons Georgie (George Mathew, Jr.) & Thomaskutty (Thomas Mathew) and daughter Susy.
George Mathew, Jr. (1.1.3.1.1.2.1.1) married Suja, daughter of K V
Varghese and Kunjannamma Kayyalakkal, Elevumthitta. He worked in U A E for long and now lives with his parents in Thriuvanthapuram.
Thomas Mathew (Thomaskutty) (1.1.3.1.1.2.1.2) married Roshni
daughter of late Prof. Thomas Jacob and Molly, Mammarappallil, Kuriyanoor. They migrated to Australia and now lives in Sydney with their children Ann and Joshua who are students.
Susy is married to Prasanth, son of Thakkar Varsha couple, Bombay.
They have a son, Karan and a daughter Kavya, both are students. They live in Sydney as Australian citizens.
Accamma (Ammukutty) is married to Joy of Poovanpara, Muthiramala,
Karukachal. They have three children, Santhosh, Binesh and Christy.
Gracy: She is married to Sunny, son of P C Chacko Perumpallikattu
Thollaserry, Tiruvalla. They have two children Freenu and Leny.
1.1.3.1.1.2.2. Rev. George Koshy (Kunju) (1950)
He is the second son of Vadakeprath Alias Varkey and Mariamma. After
his Post Graduation, B.Ed and BD was ordained as Priest in the Mar Thoma Church. He served in various Mar Thoma Parishes in India and outside India as Vicar. He was the Bording Supdt. of St. Thomas School Trivandrm and Principal of Mar Thoma School Ranchi in Bihar. Achen served as the member
of Mar Thoma Sabha Council and also as the Secretary to Chengannoor Thumpamon Diocese.
He got married in 1980 to Suma the daughter of Thazalthillath Rev.
T.M. Thomas and Mary Thomas. Suma Kochamma had her Post
Graduation and B.Ed. and worked as a teacher. They are staying in the
paternal plot, and they made a beautiful eco-friendly home and now
they are living there. They have three daughters.
- Sherin Mariam: She is working as an IT Engineer USA and got married to Kumbanadu Puzhikalayil Prasad. They have two children. Riya Liz and Noel George Zachariah.
- Dr. Roshin Mary Koshy: She did her MBBS and MD at CMC Velloor, and now working as the Medical Supdt. in Assam, Makunda Christian Leprosy and General Hospital.
- Jasmine Susan Koshy: She did M Sc. Nursing at CMC Velloor and
now working as the Nursing Supdt. in Assam, Makunda Christian Leprosy and General Hospital.
